June 2018.
This location was even better as described.  We came to Heggebakk with my family  in June 2018 to celebrate my 40 years birthday.  What a fantastic place!  The peace and quiet were amazing, and the view of the fjord and the mountains breathtaking.
And John, the host,  made the stay absolute perfect for us.  He shared willing his solid knowledgeabout the best fishing-grounds, and gave us good advices about the fishing-mystery.  And the result was fantastic: Mostly saithe, but also maeckerel, ling, cod, wolf-fish, pollack, haddock and even a nice halibut.
A great experience was to see two different kinds of whales, and even a sea-eagle near Heggebakk.
Thanks John for your helpfulness, and especially for guiding us to a very nice local mountain.
We can absolute recommend this property.  We have been 13 seasons in Norway, and thiswas the very best.
We will be soon back.

Our family, 5 persons, stayed in Selhytta for 2 weeks in August 2019.And what a nice place to have holiday!. The house was very well equipped, modern and clean.All the four cabins were situated in very beautiful nature, close to the seaside, free from trafic-noice.
The fishing in the fjord was very good, and the host was  always available, and helpfulwith as well good fishing tips, as practical information about the district, and possibilitiesfor tours in the mountains.
We will come back to Heggebakk another year, and can absolute recommend this place.
